Welcome from the Provost

Welcome to the website of the Office of the Provost and Senior Vice President.

Today is both an exciting and a challenging time for higher education in Kansas. The economic down turn has affected all aspects of our society, including higher education. Kansas State houses fields of study that help prepare both our undergraduate and graduate students to be contributors to our society. Our faculty are committed to providing educational experiences to help students learn. The K-State 2025 strategic plan is focused on making that experience even better with goals to improve student retention, undergraduate research participation, Ph.D. education, research and development, and our University endowment. Stay tuned...we are on our way!
